Stealing Rihanna's Hairstyle

Rihanna has certainly had a year of ups and downs.  One of the things that has remained constant is her ever changing hairstyles.  When she first cut off all of her hair into that perfect short, shaggy bob, I was sold.  I had to try the look myself.  I mean, don’t get me wrong, I also love her faux hawks and changing hair colors and even her buzz cuts.  But there is something about the sleekness of her first shaggy bob that looks effortless and sexy that I want to replicate.

Of course, my hair is wavy so creating that sleek look is certainly not effortless.  It is almost effortless though, since I have a GHD flat iron.  This professional styling iron has made all the difference.  When I went to get the haircut, my stylist warned me that replicating Rihanna’s hair would take a bit of work but that it wouldn’t be such a chore if I had the right tools.  He uses a GHD flat iron after cutting my hair and so I decided that would probably be the best for me to use too.  I look like I’ve just stepped out of a salon every time I style my hair.  Who knows?  Maybe I’ll try the faux hawk next!
